Margo Tolins-Mejia, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Adult Cardiology
Dr. Tolins-Mejia graduated from the University of North Carolina Medical School, then did an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota. She completed a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
She has been with Metropolitan Cardiology since 1986. Other interests include Cardiac Risk Factor Reduction in Women.
She first came to Minnesota from New York to attend Outward Bound in Ely. She is a strong advocate of staying physically fit. She has participated in marathons, triathlons and bicycle rides. She often stops in Cardiac Rehab to lift weights and spend time with others who value exercise as part of their daily lives.
