MEDICAL EDUCATION

Dr. Joseph Lin is from California and received his undergraduate education from the University of California at Berkeley. He received his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Lin completed his internal medicine residency, chief residency, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at the University of Minnesota, where he also received a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology.

Dr. Lin joined private practice at Metropolitan Cardiology Consultants in 2006 and is Board Certified in both Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has authored several publications and articles on implantable defibrillators, heart attacks and infectious diseases. Dr. Lin sees general cardiology patients and specializes in Electrophysiology, the study of abnormal heart rhythms. He also has an interest in clinical research.

He and his wife have a beautiful little girl whom they named after his alma mater. They enjoy biking, paddling, camping and traveling, and took her to four different continents by the time she was 6 months of age.

Board certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
